Lead vocalist Dee Dee Simon from Oakland, Ca pours her heart out on a killer rendition that is sure to break hearts and turn the hairs up on your back!

The classic Whatnauts origional has become a sought after 45 for collectors. This Bay Area Soul 45 will only increase that demand and has already become very collectable itself.

 

This version contains studio session excerpts of producer George Kerr (Moments, Whatnauts, Escorts, Linda Jones) conducting Group Harmony, and a Part II not available on digital platforms.

The group harmony conducted by George Kerr and harmonized by Zee Desmondes of The Jack Moves, Ben Pirani of Colemine Records/Palmetto St. and session vocalist Mike Clanton, and recorded at Full Time Records in Newark, NJ.

 

Percussion by Mio “Timbalero” Flores from East Oakland, Ca known for backing up names like The Whispers, Sapo, Tower of Power..

Music by The M-Tet recorded on multi-track cassette tape by Chris Lujan at Lugnut Brand HQ, Pittsburg, Ca during the “Where Did Our Pride Go” sessions.
